PerpXray reconstructs positions from public Hyperliquid fills and turns them into a trading profile: performance, timing, holding behavior, markets, execution costs, and evidence-based insights about what to keep doing and what to change. Problem
Traders rarely get an honest view of their own behavior. Exchange dashboards show balances, not habits, and most analytics tools want wallet access.
Solution
A free, read-only X-ray of any Hyperliquid address: trading style, edge, consistency, risk, execution costs, and a playbook of insights that link back to the trades behind them.
Architecture
A read-only analytics pipeline pulls public fills from the Hyperliquid API, caches history per analyzed address to stay within rate limits, reconstructs positions, and computes performance and behavior metrics. Insights are gated by sample size and resampling checks before they are shown.
Lessons learned
Insights are only useful when they are honest about uncertainty. Labeling low-confidence patterns and correcting for how many patterns were checked matters more than adding another chart.
